Tom, the owner and cook at Sub Sand, makes a mean banh–mi sandwich using incredible artistry with meticulousness (He also painted the submarine mural on the restaurant wall). For a great alternative to lunchtime sandwiches there are delectable noodle soups and spring rolls. Conclude the adventure with not-too-sweet egg puffs that taste like waffles—a perfect snack for walking back to the office.
